Halloween on Central is a wickedly fun, family-friendly, and FREE event that showcases our vision for what a car-free Central Avenue could look like for locals, businesses, and visitors to enjoy.
Dog Bar will be a featured spot in this huge event with a pet costume parade, small dog races, dog trick-or-treating, DJ Shannon C, and Jell-O Shots benefitting Skyway Dachshund Rescue and Limbo Chihuahua Rescue.
This event is a collaboration with the City of St. Petersburg, Grand Central District, EDGE District, and Open Streets St. Pete, Car-Free St. Pete is shutting down 22 blocks of Central Avenue, from MLK Jr. St to 31st Street, on October 30th, 2022.
Attendees can stroll & roll along nearly 2 miles of the city’s largest open spaces and experience the heart of St. Pete from a unique perspective that will allow them to rediscover their favorite local businesses and interact with the community in fun, healthy ways.
There will be fun Halloween-themed activities fit for the whole family, such as trick-or-treating, costume contests, entertainment, local business vendors, and more. Pets are welcome, too! Wearing face masks is highly encouraged.
Vehicles allowed: Bikes, skateboards, roller skates, one wheels, hoverboards, e-scooters.
Vehicles NOT allowed: Golf carts, slingshots, motorcycles, and other large motorized vehicles.
