St. Pete’s Dog Bar celebrates fourth anniversary during next week’s corgi meetup

A night dedicated to your favorite stubby-legged dog.

A night dedicated to your favorite stubby-legged dog.

The Dog Bar has been bringing Tampa Bay pups and their booze-loving owners together for years now, and the downtown St. Pete spot celebrates its fourth anniversary next Saturday, March 7 with a corgis-only meet-up.

The Dog Bar is waiving the usual price of its day pass for its corgi party; that means dogs and their owners can get in for free that day. Does that mean any dog or just corgis though? CL called Dog Bar, and we’ll update the blog if we get a response.

The corgi shindig runs from about 6 p.m.-9 p.m., but you can party until 1 a.m., when The Dog Bar—located at 2300 Central Ave.—shuts its doors. Remember that any dog entering Dog Bay needs to register and be up to date on their shots.

Although Dog Bar doesn’t serve food, a food truck is often parked outside and offering all types of bites to soak up those beers. Visit Dog Bar’s Facebook page for more information on all of its upcoming events and breed-specific meet-ups.
